I work for you, not the dealer.

Most car buying is set up so the dealer holds all the information and you make the decision blind. This flips that. Tell me what you want, and I do the research, comparisons, and negotiating — you decide, and nothing costs anything until you say go.

How it works
01

You submit a brief

A short form with what you're looking for — make, model, budget, must-haves, timeline. Takes about five minutes. No cost, no obligation.

02

I research the market

I pull real listings, current pricing, incentives, and trade-in data, and put together 2–3 genuine options that match your brief — with honest notes on trade-offs for each.

03

You get the brief back

Usually within 1–2 business days. You review it on your own time. If none of it's right, we adjust or you walk away — still no cost.

04

We agree on a fee, in writing

If you want me to go negotiate a specific vehicle, I'll quote the flat fee for that price range before I do anything else. You approve it in writing before I contact a dealer on your behalf.

05

I negotiate, you close

I handle the back-and-forth with the dealer — price, add-ons, trade-in value. You still sign the final paperwork and financing directly with the dealer; I'm working the phones and the numbers on your side of the table.

Designed to pay for itself

My goal is to create more value through vehicle pricing, trade-in negotiations, and avoided dealer add-ons than you pay for the service. Savings can't be guaranteed, but you'll see the numbers clearly before deciding whether to move forward.

Fee schedule — flat, by vehicle price
Vehicle purchase priceFlat fee
Under $20,000$200
$20,000 – $39,999$350
$40,000 – $59,999$500
$60,000 – $79,999$650
$80,000 – $99,999$800
$100,000 and upNegotiated % — schedule a consultation

Flat fee, not a percentage, for vehicles up to $100,000 — I don't make more if you spend more in that range, so there's no incentive for me to steer you toward a pricier car. For vehicles over $100,000, my fee is negotiated as a percentage of the purchase price, reflecting the added time and complexity those transactions typically involve.

Research and your initial brief are free. You pay only if you select a vehicle, approve my quoted fee in writing, and the purchase closes. If I negotiate on an approved vehicle but you ultimately don't purchase it, no fee is due.

What I do

  • Source and compare real listings against your brief
  • Pull pricing context so you know what "fair" looks like
  • Handle price and trade-in negotiation with the dealer
  • Help you compare financing options and coordinate the closing process
  • Flag junk fees and unnecessary add-ons before they hit your paperwork

What I don't do

  • Take ownership or possession of any vehicle
  • Sign financing or purchase paperwork for you
  • Get paid by dealers — my fee comes from you, only
  • Charge anything before you approve it in writing

What you receive

Who's working for you?

Niko Paspalaris
Niko Paspalaris
Founder, Buyer's Brief

I spent two years as a senior sales executive at a luxury dealership group, working across everything from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Rolls-Royce to BMW, Mercedes, Kia, Honda, and Toyota. That job taught me exactly how the process works from the dealer's side — I started this business to put that same knowledge to work for buyers instead.

Service area: Jacksonville, FL — plus out-of-state sourcing as needed

I act as a buyer's agent — I locate and negotiate vehicles on your behalf and do not buy, sell, hold, or take title to any vehicle myself. I'm not a licensed dealer and this isn't a dealership.
